In my hometown of Minneapolis, Doomtree is that of modern local legend. Consisting of rappers Dessa, P.O.S, Cecil Otter, Sims, and Mike Mictlan and producers Lazerbeak and Paper Tiger, Doomtree Records has put out over 50 releases over the last 15 years as a completely independent label both as solo artists and a powerhouse collective.

The collective had an online technical and visual presence many years out of date. Working directly with the crew, I built a completely new website complete with fresh technology, all-new visual direction, and refreshed branding. The final product needed to be device agnostic, fast, support any and all media player APIs, and be something they could update constantly with no coding skills while on the road. This included building a custom version Songkick tour schedule plugin to support multiple acts that mix artists and even custom composites of artists photos.

The goal was to make a simpler, more mature destination on the web. As a longtime fan before working with them, it was an honor to do this project.
